WOW. Of course in the early 60s Chrysler did succeed along with like and railroading and have a turbine car although it really didn't sell they did pull it off Jay Leno owns one of them and as far as running on nuclear power I guess it would be the early 80s one of the DeLorean wood be powered buy plutonium and it would be readily available apparently in every drug store lol.
For those that don't know that's a Back To the Future Reference.
I like to subscribe to jalopnik lot of times they get some really really interesting things come across there Topix but this was kind of cool to find out of course most know that what Ford was calling the half car half pick up would be known as the Ranchero for some reason they needed a more spanish-sounding name to rival Chevrolet El Camino it is still kind of cool to think though as nuclear power first came around how people were thinking about interesting in the unique ways to harness it and everyday use.
