What is going on in Vintage Life after G+?

But You do. Treat us to current information regarding Vintage Life on this blog by writing a guest post.

Use the contact form to email the owner with your proposal. Include your email so that we can respond.

"Strut your stuff!" Your proposal should (very briefly) showcase your expertise. Links to your Blogger profile, if you have one and historical online presence will be reviewed.

Guidelines:

1. No money. There will be no charge to you for posting. We will not pay you for your post.

2. Relevance mandated. Your post must have something to do with Vintage Life. We will make selections among submissions using the original Vintage Life Community guidelines:

"Vintage: is it a feeling? An era? An idea?

"This community is intended to bring together ideas, images and art that represents the best of its kind in a vintage, classical and historical sense.

"Off topic posts will be deleted and repeat offenders will be blocked at our discretion.

"Please, no advertising posts of items currently for sale...
No more than three or four posts per day.

"Pin-ups are asked not to be posted; by the owner.

"Nudity in photo's or other art will be judged on a post by post basis and anyone posting nudes repeatedly will be removed summarily.

 "Blogs are welcome as long as they are in line with the values and mindset of the Community. Please no blogs for 'sales promotions.' "

3. Vintage insights, photos and movies welcome! But you don't have to write posts. Using the contact form, point us to good links. We'll share them here and credit you with your suggestion.

4. Promotions prohibited. No ads, please. Just the facts. What is your latest discovery? Let us know.

5. Short posts best. This is a visual medium. Fewer words & lots of images, please! No more than 2 or 3 paragraphs at most. People are looking, not reading.
