  2. I would think that every inch of those buses would be repurposed for something post-war! That's a neat video nonetheless and I learned something new. Never had a clue that old busses would be burned.

  3. I am guessing, something that contained as many people, for a long as they did would best be 'decontaminated' before storage and smelting?

  4. Oshi Shikigami That's an interesting point but I'm not sure that was part of the thinking at the time. I'm amazed to learn what goes into landfills now, even with warmings about what can and cannot be trashed in the usual way. I'm certain that plenty of people ignore the warnings about drugs, paints, electronics, etc.
