Is this niche your niche? We are accustomed to changing our favorite method of communication every few months these days. Before Twitter and Facebook and radio and color magazines there were trade cards. Trade cards were the rage for a decade or two at the end of the 19th century. Read all about it! Here:

  5. Roma Arellano You are not alone! These cards were the first printed color many Victorians had seen in their lives. Illustrations in magazines and newspapers of the time were all in black and white. Photography was just around the corner historically, but had not yet arrived when these cards were popular.
