A friend of mine recommended this story. 100 years ago, in WWI a special section of the British Navy, Divers for the Code Breakers that deciphered German top secret messages, undertook perilous missions that helped turn the tide of the war.
It's an excellent short read and I am sure you will enjoy it too.

Very interesting. I can't imagine the danger of the mission, the gruesome nature of it and by some miracle, the success of it and the survival of those divers. I would think that this would be dangerous even today. Great read, thanks, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteAnn Kennedy those diving suits weighed about 200 lbs, so you know it was no easy task. I found out things I never knew. I am glad you enjoyed it.
