ReplyDeleteMadgesHatbox Vintage I can remember stepping on the round one's as a child when shopping in downtown York, PA. Never knew what they were but loved to walk across them. Thank you for sharing this bit of history with us.

Margaret Siemers This article is about New York but I still see them in older commercial sections of major cities. I loved them as a kid as well.
