There's a very good site called Vintage & Antiques that may be able to help you because a lot of dealers hang there. That said, It is very difficult to say, from one photo, much about the item. It has a look of colonial, but could have been made in any time. Turn it over and show pictures of the underside, the slats etc. Is it made with screws? Or was it nailed? Just Glue? Do you know any history of the piece? These are all questions you will be asked, so it is best to save time and go prepared. Oh, and your photo's need to be well lit and show details.
