The façade of Sir Paul Pindar’s house is an outstanding survival of a London timber-framed house built before the Great Fire of 1666. It was built in around 1599 by Paul Pindar (1565?–1650), a wealthy merchant and diplomat who was knighted in 1620 by James I, and

  3. It's mind boggling to see Darran Hughes. If I ever should be so lucky as to visit England, I know I will be visiting the Victoria & Albert Museum, top of the want list too. I loved all the drawings you show of it also. I noted some had it looking a bit different, artest licence or remodels do you think?

  4. Margaret Siemers the building has changed so much over the 400 years. A quick google of Paul Pindars house (images) will reveal the house changing over the century’s.
    If you do go to London have a peak at the Natural History Museum.
