I believe that this motorcar is a JAGUAR SS100, not a Bentley. The JAGUAR had a lower slung suspension than the fine old Bentley. (I've been a huge fan of Jags for ages.)
William Babyak thanks, always difficult to identify a passing classic and as there had been a few Bentleys about that week that is what I thought it was. And it does look similar to the ss but they are even rarer. So having checked the registration plate it looks like it is a Lagonda 4 & 1/2 Litres.
