Just wanted to wish everyone a Fantastic Independence Day this July 4th! And I can't think of anything more Patriotic than the story of George M. Cohen's life as portrayed by James Cagney in the movie called "Yankee Doodle Dandy".

I am sorry to be absent so much right now, but I am dealing with two herniated disks that are causing pain and some paralysis. However in the weeks I have been away from you all I am improving, and hope to be able to share the things from the past with you that I love so much...your memories, your stories, and your fantastic shares with the community.

    I had a collection of popular and historical Independence Day poems. That my computer seems to have eaten. So I will just say that I wish all a happy fourth, and the desire, that we have our freedoms forever. :-)

    Happy 4th to you! So good to hear from you, but I'm so sorry to hear the news. Take care and come back full force very soon! We all seem to be stepping back a bit, but fear not, we will all return with much to share. Love this very appropriate post and this was one of the first stage shows I saw many decades ago so it brings lots of meaning.
