This vintage set has a cabinet produced by tghe Ingraham Co., and an unusual tambour door to cover the face of the radio. It was advertised as a portable, but in reality, you needed to be near a power outlet. You can see it...toss this radio in the back of the Chrysler Woodie Town and Country, and head off to your "cabin" !

That would have been a very classy radio in its day. I love the design and it's still beautiful.
