  1. This is a wonderful collection of historic photos. Love the women park employees. Imagine trying to do the required work in those long, hot outfits. These is such a rich history in our national parks and I only hope they'll be available and well-maintained for future generations. When my family took a trip to Yellowstone in 1960, as we were leaving my mom said something like, "This is apt to look a lot different when you bring your own children."

  2. Ann Kennedy I know, so much is changing lately, it's hard to know what our National Parks will be like in the years to come. It's what happens when someone doesn't understand what a job encompises and needs to run a crash course to learn it properly. I just hope the American voters understand that lesson.

  3. Ann Kennedy I was just reading a bit about Yellowstone, I didn't realise it was the very first National Park, not only in the USA but the entire world. And most of today's conservation ideas for protecting animals were sparked from the park Naturalists work. Cool.
