Enjoy The famous New York Central before plane travel and supersonic jets took ya from coast to coast in hrs. not days..And passenger train travel after 67 or so was never same. Old famous lines were bought out merged and well...

  1. In the 90's I took an overnight sleeper car from Asheville, NC to Philadelphia, PA a few times. It was a nice way to travel. There was a hollow door that opened from both sides. Back in the day, you could put your shoes and suit in there and they would be shined and pressed while you slept. When I rode the train that service was no longer offered.
