    catman916 I thought to search a little about Tommy Steele when I found in my little diaries that I saw a film featuring him when I was 12 yo on 1957-07-16

    This version went to the top of the UK charts - a cover of Guy Mitchell's original. Tommy became quite big over here: films and the stage show of Half A Sixpence.

    Happily I can say I was too young in 57 to remember this song. Woo hoo! Now if I could just feel it. lol
