Just found this in the spam folder. G+ is getting pickier about posting from certain venues. Last night it would not allow me to post this same story on her so I am happy you did. Thanks That Great Shop

ReplyDeleteThat Great Shop Yes, every community has one. Posts that Google Algorithms feel are possibly spam (unwanted posts) are put in them to be moderated, or taken care of. Approved, removed, and the dreaded by every poster, Banned. (the last meaning the sender is not able to post to the community any longer. If you ever see one of your posts with a line through the name at the top where you sent it to it means your post was removed.
ReplyDeleteSome communities just ok everything in it, and some don't even know they have one so they never do see the light of day.
Most of the posts that go into the spam folder here are simply posts that were shared more than twice, or the poster had posted too many in a row to different places. Tops is three in any one hour. The fourth will go into spam.
I don't always get into the community itself and sometimes not for a few days. So a post can sit waiting to be looked at. I work from my dropdown most of the time because it is faster, like I am doing right now.
