I remember that, I lived in Louisiana all through the 70s and they were talking about it then around 75 or 76. I thought it was a bad idea. I could never understand why anyone would think it was good to encourage people to drink and drive. So now you can buy it at a drive through but it has to be sealed? That is at least a little bit better. Thanks for this look back, our history helps explain today for tomorrow. Will Griffin

ReplyDeleteI have seen years ago, vending machines, for beer, and even liquor. Often placed where anyone could access it, including stores and offices. :-)
