Once belonged to my Great grandmother (or Great Great Grandmother)my mother washed the piece when she was a little girl and the red paint on the cloak floated off. So she has a white cloak now. I have surrounded her with coins from 17/18 and 1900s

ReplyDeleteShe's very sweet and identifiable even in white. You are wise to keep her safely under glass. I love the addition of the coins and of course the lovely framed photos in the background.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy that the rest of the paint stayed on her. She is a wonderful figurine. I had never seen any like her before.
