    For those of us that had no idea where this is...
    The Old Sheldon Church Ruins is a historic site located in northern Beaufort County, South Carolina, approximately 17 miles north of Beaufort in the Sheldon area. Wikipedia

    Thanks Margaret Siemers I guess I should have mentioned that. First burned down by the British during the Revolutionary War. Then destroyed for the final time during the un Civil War. Whenever I'm driving from Savannah to Charleston I always stop for a few minutes to gather my thoughts.
