Apparently they did as this man looks to be better protected than any of the others below. I doubt that you would strap on this getup just for fun.

    This is a good one ! I would like to know for which application he was wearing this, probably not for medical.
    He was a chief (see the stripes on his arm), and chiefs usually take no risk...

  2. Laurent Truillet The captioning on the post said only that he was a Radiographer from France and the date.
    So what would a Chief in the French military do with radiation if not for medical reasons? I haven't a clue on that one.
