Chairs from StMarys church in the market town of Beverley. A group of chairs still exist inside this ancient church. What really blew my mind is that they are from the 15 century. Notice how little bum space.
Wonderful post Darran Hughes Science does tell us folks were smaller of stature back then. I guess we just don't realise how much smaller of stature they were.
