It was ok because it was for Hygiene, heavily veiled in innuendo and euphemism of course! They were finding out around this time what the stinky-stanky meant healthwise.
Would you believe that Lysol was a feminine Hygiene product? Possibly before what we now use it as. Not absolutely sure about the use timeline on that. Jazzy Lemon

ReplyDeleteThis was also at the time when people used to use Lysol as birth control and ended up hurting themselves.
