Maria Richardson -WagTail Adventures I never tried the lardy cake but the fish & chips from the old chip shop in the main street were great. And coming from someone who's father was a Grimsby fisherman ( obviously the best fish & chips in the WORLD!) that's a compliment. Glad you liked the place. :-)
Ann Kennedy I have more images from the Black Country Museum itself illustrating Victorian life, shops and trades. I'll go thro' them and pick a few out. It will take some time but I will post them on either Vintage Life or my blog. Or both! Thanks for showing an interest. :-)
If you put them on the blog only, ya best post a link to it here else we could have unruly folks gathering with torches. Always ends messy, and I hate to clean the place. ; ) David Bennett
Show us more! You've got me very curious!

ReplyDeleteDavid Bennett Terrific! I know they will be well received wherever put them. No rush!

ReplyDeleteMargaret Siemers Will do, I'm assuming by "here" you mean Vintage Life? :-)
ReplyDeleteDavid Bennett Yes dear David, but of course any other place I live on G+ is welcome too. : )
ReplyDeleteAlso want to mention I love the clarity and colors of this photo. A true brochure ready to print photo if I ever saw one.
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret Siemers
