Thanks for allowing me to join. I may not seem like it but HISTORY is a daily part of my life. I only read non fiction and my friends and family say if you put me in any grade, throw a dart at a map, and randomly pick a time or era, I could teach it. They are biased of course but I will LOVE BEING A member!!! Thanks, daddio!!

ReplyDeleteAs for "who, dead or alive would you like to spend an evening with", I can narrow it don't go twenty five.... And I'm always leaving out somebody.
I love all of history. Documentary hound. But certain times and places pull me. Of course I'd be daft if Eygpt didn't fascinate me and a liar if I claimed Herculaneum and Pompeii didn't interest me.
But I guess.... Post war of the Roses, Tudor era Reformation pulls me, seven and eighteenth France, industrial Age England and twentieth century America.
Those eras and the even decades.. Twenties, forties, sixties, and eighties. Not to mention, I am a BEATLES FREAK.
SORRY, as my fiancé says, once the top starts spinning.,.... I'm gone. Once a week he says " I just asked help on a crossword, not a lecture on the topic "
