Interestingly after years of passenger service it was converted into an aircraft carrier in World War 2 for pilot training. Its name was changed to the more dangerous sounding USS Wolverine.
What a wild ride for all the people on the ship! Looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteI also loved zooming in on the crowd shot. Hope the lady with all the buttons on the back of her coat doesn't step back another step. And aren't the hats marvelous Madges Hatbox I think Aunt Jane would be pleased with this one too. : )
