You guys (that means gal's too where I come from) have to go see this cool Miniature (billed as the world's largest and I believe it) detailed Wonderland.
The Railroads are amazingly detailed, well it all is. I am heading back now, see you on the streets.

Wow this is so cool! I was watching some people from Bavaria fly around on a broom together, which is something I never thought i'd say in my life. Thanks so much! x
ReplyDeleteJazzy Lemon I love to find those crazy interesting things out there. Have to share with my best buddies.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to more more more! When I get a chance i need to scroll through everything i missed when i was ill :) Thank you again! xx
ReplyDeleteJazzy Lemon I am happy you are feeling better. And happy our old Jazzy is back with us.
ReplyDeleteAww... it's HUG DAY! so have a big one from me SQUOOSH
ReplyDeleteLove Wonderland, just incredible detail! So glad you are on the mend! Whew!
ReplyDeleteJazzy Lemon Sucks, I didn't know it was Hug Day! I wonder if I can con my beefcake Mailman into thinking tomorrow is?
ReplyDeleteAnd Thank You for the Squoosh. Squoosh-es is always appreciated. : )
Ann Kennedy On the mend but very s l o w l y. Apparently I do not heal as fast as I once did. : ) My meds make it hard to think so I am not being active in Career related posts much right now. My sleep cycles are messed up, (again) but it is easy to sit and chat with friends. Our beloved Pam WhimsicalVintage advised me to "Punk Out" and take it easy, so I am. And if Thex Dar acts up, I'll simply appoint you as hall monitor and seek you on him. ; )
ReplyDeleteoh darn, i'm sure Hug Day is retroactive! Hug away! xx
ReplyDeleteThex Dar I know you're eavesdropping so you know to behave for the next few days. ; )
ReplyDeleteI would guess it took years to do! I also wonder how many people worked on it. I am still enjoying the entire thing and have been too preoccupied with that to look into the Who, What, When, where and Why of it.
I love the little fella at Oktoberfest with the stack of crates toppling over. The fall is in midair and he is looking up like "Ooh shite!". Love it all.
Very cool and I was so happy to see the port-o-potties:)...they left no details out!
ReplyDeleteGood for you Margaret Siemers , it's time for a relaxing week, at least until the snow hits tomorrow and don't you dare go outside and try to do something (I know you!).
Pam WhimsicalVintage no way! I have been told by both of my children that they will come with shovels to dig us out on Sunday. So I will promise you as I have them.
ReplyDeleteAnd that reminds me, I could lose my connection Via the lights going out so don't worry if I am not seen or heard from for several days. We have a wood stove and plenty of wood was brought in (by youngest and her hubby) yesterday. Also plenty of provisions, you know milk, water and toilet paper. lol our friends in arid places won't understand that one.
and while I have you, you be careful too. Your shoulder isn't going to stand any shoveling and if you do you will regret it.
I understand that you are going to get a worse hit than us. I have been praying that it hits DC the worst, because they have been snowing us under for years. It's only right they get a taste of the medicine. lol ; )
I was hoping you had the kids all lined up Margaret Siemers . I'm ready, the plan is to shovel in 2" increments:). Once I get Bruce back tomorrow, I'm good and will wait for the guys to come and shovel. He gets out around 11am, so I should be good. I've been doing extra arm/back/shoulder stretches in preparation:). Around here they're saying anywhere from 12 to 24 but are very worried about the winds and power...let the games begin:)
ReplyDeleteMargaret Siemers Well okie dokie!
ReplyDeleteThex Dar Good morning! It takes enough polish to keep my own halo glowing much less working on someone else's :-)
ReplyDeleteThex Dar I'm not certain that at my age I have enough elbow grease to handle your halo! Tee hee hee!
ReplyDeleteThex Dar and Ann Kennedy , you're crackin' me up!
ReplyDeleteNo halo here, so I have plenty of polish to donate to the cause:)
Pam WhimsicalVintage I sat next to Thex Dar in school and it was not a good situation for the teachers:-) Just kidding.
ReplyDeletePam WhimsicalVintage Oh lordy, did I ever appoint the wrong hall monitor. I can see now that the halo's were held up in place by the Devil Horns. The community will just have to "defend" for itself. : )
ReplyDeletePing to Ann Kennedy and Thex Dar so you know I am onto you two rascals.
Like you didn't know that already Margaret Siemers , I'm fuel to the fire these days:)
ReplyDeleteIn my younger years, I would have been the one sitting behind Ann Kennedy and Thex Dar saying, "Ooooo, you guys are gonna get in trouble!"
Margaret Siemers
ReplyDeleteNo discussion that this is the largest and most complete (and expensive !) model railroad in the world.
The videos on Internet are continually updated. Here is I think the lates one :

This attraction is so popular that it is advised to book long in advance.
And the days are too short for all the visitors. Some visits are scheduled during the night....
No !
I haven't seen it yet !
Laurent TRUILLET Golly gosh, that's something. How long does it take to go through the entire thing? Do you know?
ReplyDeleteMargaret Siemers
ReplyDeleteI don't know ! Some people that I know (:-) would spend a whole day in there, but I suspect that the visitors are allowed only a limited time
