When I was about 22 years old my sister and her husband went to Florida in his Corvette and he had one of these twin-lens reflex cameras, don't know if it was a Rolleiflex though, but it could have very well been. But I'll never forget when they came back and showed everyone in the family the photos they took and had developed. My sister's husband took a photo of my sister standing in front of his yellow Corvette with the top down on it, and it was amazing !..the clarity was what I was so impressed by. I will never forget that photo and how a win-lens reflex camera captured it. :-)
It was Ann. And I forgot to mention that the car was in front of the Gulf of Mexico and had some palm trees in it also. I wish I could see it again. They're not married anymore or I would ask about the photo and that camera. :-)
I had one of these Matthew Woodall found it on my travels a few years ago. Put it on EBay and received a very good price for it. Still have an old voiglander, compur-rapid. The Rolliflex was much nicer.
Darran the Voiglander was a great camera as well,.the twin-lens reflex they made. I had almost forgotten that name brand camera. I have been looking at a twin-lens reflex camera made by Yashica, which have just as much quality but much cheaper. My first 35mm camera was a Yashica, that I bought new in Lakewood, Colorado in 1981.
Yes, a classic beauty!
