Yikes.... :)
ReplyDeleteCool:). Retro flash back
ReplyDeleteCool to look at but I would go insane living in that chaotic decor
ReplyDeleteI LIKE THE DESIGN OF THE FURNITURE BUT THAT GREEN HAS TO GO.
ReplyDeleteSteve Hart Completely agree about living in that mess, but the jury is still out on whether or not it's cool to look at:-)
ReplyDeleteGroovy, Baby! But I'm not seeing any wall to wall shag carpet in The Color Formerly Known As Whisky. Too cool, Ann Kennedy and I predict a bidding war for this one. Say, do you remember the little plastic rakes for grooming one's shag carpet?
ReplyDeleteMike Martin Yes I remember carpet rakes and what came out of those shag rugs was pretty disgusting!
ReplyDeleteAs fashionable today as it was then.
ReplyDeleteDarran Hughes I guess I'd call it "busy" !
ReplyDeleteI SEE A LOT OF CALIFORNIA INFLUENCE IN THE DECOR.
ReplyDeleteCALIFORNIA KING SIZE BED. FURNITURE IN LIVING ROOM ALSO WEST COAST DESIGN.
I think the wall paper would make my dragons dizzy!
ReplyDeleteMy god is that all? oh i would love this and i wouldn't change a thing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ann Kennedy you have reminded me that not only fashion was atrocious in the 70s, but some designers did a number decorating too. I'm sorry, but I have to agree with the folks that say it would hurt to live here. Guess I am more of a Dunkinfife kinda girl.
ReplyDeleteI do note in the video a secret door in the back of the closet. There is a bolt latch there and you can detect the door edges. Would it be a panic room or escape? Hard to say, perhaps it even goes into a solid beige room for when your eyes just hurt too much to stay in your bedroom. ; )
ReplyDeleteI think "yikes!" sums it up!
ReplyDeleteHow did we get through that decade (not that the 80's were much better:)?
Great share Ann Kennedy !
Pam WhimsicalVintage Crazy isn't it! Thanks:-)
ReplyDeleteNot a place to be cool, calm and collected. Great colours and patterns though - but wouldn't want to live with them continuously.
