  3. Of course they are rifles. Those look to be target grade 22 caliber rimfire rifles. I am unsure of the manufacturer, as they seem to be modified specifically for target shooting. Perhaps a very early version of Olympic  rifles.

  9. Oshi Shikigami. NOT SNOOTY AT ALL. YOU ARE CORRECT ABOUT THE RIFLES. I SHOT COMPETITION RIFLE WITH MY FATHER IN CHICAGO. THE RIFLES WERE MODIFIED AND DESIGNED FOR THAT PURPOSE KEEN EYE:-):-):-)
