I love, over the ages, how people thought a TV in the kitchen was a good idea? Wow what better way to mess up a recipe?
ReplyDeleteClever and imaginative, but...
ReplyDelete- Where do you put the rabbit ears for the TV?
- Will the heat from the fireplace damage the vacuum tubes (yep, I'm old) in the TV?
- Are we sure that Dick won't ever shove Jane into the brickwork?
The rest of the house is pretty cool, really!
Good point Oshi Shikigami. On the other hand, I mess up recipes regardless.
ReplyDeleteLOL Mike Martin. If Dick and Jane survived the hot kitchen, bet ya they love their flat screens today.
ReplyDeleteVintage Gaze - Oh, do not get me started!
ReplyDeleteOK, Dick is now 66 y/o, 5'8", 325 pounds and watches Fox news all day on his flat screen. Jane is 64 y/o, 5'6", 105 pounds, smokes two packs a day and spends her time avoiding bill collectors' calls but talks to her girl friends about what a jerk her ex is.
Not the outcome we were led to expect in grade school.
That's funny, depressing, and perhaps true Mike Martin .
