Buster Keaton...my heartthrob <3

A friend of mine shared this photo with no information, so i'm not sure if it was actually shot in colour, but it is most likely to be a colourised photo.

  4. If you know what to look for, it can be fairly easy to discern, hand from film. And digital coloring too.

  5. Look to see if there is minor color changes in solid color areas. Hand colored almost always are very pure with the one color in blocked areas. Look at the black or nearly black "lines". If they look ink black, not grayed with color shifts, it is hand colored. This often is easiest to see in faces. With real color images, the face does not have "black black", it has darker and very dark colors. look at folge often it is just one color, as is the sky, zero variations in color. But basicly in "real" color images, colors are seldom exactly on shade over large 3D areas and folds.

If you need to know for some reason and want a "professional opinion", feel free to ask me, I am happy to render an opinion, with credentials.  ;-)

  6. As an "old car" gal, I, of course, wonder about the car. It's a luxury Model as it has a special compartment for golf clubs.
