I'd love to have a budgie on a leash.
ReplyDeleteMy brother trained several birds to use a special place to do their duties. But the big Macaws unfortunately were a tough case to train.
ReplyDeletebut a Diaper? i would collapse laughing if i had seen that haha!
ReplyDeleteBetter a nappy than the alternative though!
ReplyDeleteI myself had 2 budgies once..OMG the mess! i would get up in the morning to what looked like a feather seed & bird poo fight! I used cling wrap all around the bottom half of the cage once to try prevent it to no avail..i think the little blighters thought they would try & be clever & started throwing everything over the top of it! lol

ReplyDeleteParakeets were it when I was a kid, (Budgies to you all) We had one, and they are just naturally messy birds.
My dad actually got it to talk. Not what he was trying to teach it, he was trying to get him to say "Pretty Boy" but never did. Here one night when Dad was putting the cover on the cage he said "Good Night Pretty Boy" and the bird said Good Night! After that when ever the bird was stressed and wanted his cage covered he would walk back and forth on the perch and say "Good Night" repeatedly. That was all he ever learned to say, but we all swear that the bird would laugh and it sounded a lot like the way my Dad laughed.
Mellissa Evans I think posting to an album like this is perfect. A good way to have multiple photos shared at one time and still not stress out anyone.
ReplyDeleteNow that should be a major hint to multi posting, car loving members. lol
Matthew Woodall italo tagliabue one way to keep you happy.
My brother cared for a psychologically wounded parrot, for it's owner. When it came time to take him home to his owner, the bird looked to my brother, and said sardonically, "problems, problems, problems"...
ReplyDeleteOshi Shikigami are you being serious or are you being Oshi? I can't tell on this one. 8O(
ReplyDeleteAbsolute, swear on a stack of Bibles, truth! LOL
