The Stork Club was a nightclub in Manhattan, New York City, which during its existence from 1929 to 1965 was one of the most prestigious clubs in the world.   1. I am pretty sure this was a setup shot. This is not natural lighting, but the lighting that was done, was excellent! Interior shots of small crowded places is extremely difficult - doubly so with the equipment and materials available at the time of the  photo. My hat is off to the photographer!

  3. Margaret Siemers, It would have been a nightmare to film within the confines of this place. Zero Room! Could not do it. Have to 'open it up', to light and have cameras move around.  :-)
