  5. so many special pieces here!  I especially like seeing dishes in unusual shapes, like the squared serving tray.  The little covered dish with the opening for a spoon, is that what they call a mayonnaise dish?
    The elegance of these designs is so, so wonderful!
    The crescent shaped dishes - my mother calls them bone dishes but I thought that was just an American thing for our fried chicken bones - what are they really called?

  6. Patsy Priebe    As far as I know Victorians, who had a dish or serving piece or silver setting for anything and everything called them bone dishes. Chicken or Fish went into them. If anyone else knows more or different pleas speak up I am not as versed as some are in China.

  7. Patsy Priebe this small dish which You named mayonnaise dish in Poland we say mustard or horseradish server dish  but can like You said and  the bone dish name here is  in using too but also as a jam or pickles dish
