It's a big deal to move a house now, much less back then!
And to think of the fuss nowadays in moving home :-)
Did they really only use two horses to move that big house?

Darran Hughes that is a thought, you wouldn't want to move all your furniture etc out to move it back in again. So yes I guess you would box the delicate stuff and secure things down like you would in a caravan /trailer.
