"The Commander's House" Phil Sheridan, 2nd Lt in 1856, supervised the construction of this house for Capt. Christopher C Augur and family who lived here until 1861. It was moved to Pedee, Oregon and used as a private home, but was recently moved back to it's original foundation at Hoskins, OR. Fort Hoskins, Benton County, Oregon. June 22, 2015. Looks like a nice,peaceful place to live. I'd love it there.
