That store is big doin's in Louisiana. When I lived in Baton Rouge for a time if you didn't shop Gottschalk's you didn't shop. That was in the later 70s.
I used to love the department stores, their full page ads and the good service. Not to mention purses, hats & gloves that came in boxes:-)
