Thex Dar (whispering) I don't think she meant to sound grumpy.
You just post as much as you feel like it. If we spend too much time on here that's our business, were having fun. Nothing says Ann Kennedy can't take a nap to help the grumps. I am, and I just found out Pam WhimsicalVintage is too. lol, nice thing about being retired, naps!
That's all I do is take naps, and go for a few hours. off/on/off/on/off/on.. in a 24 hr day... never more than a couple of hours from going from one to the other!
Laurent TRUILLET Je vous en prie, if my old French is correct, however since you're not a complete stranger, I suspect that's a bit formal perhaps. So, in that case, would it be je t'en prie? Anyway, you are most welcome.
Thex Dar Ever notice how late or early we post sometimes, me and Pam WhimsicalVintage are not that dedicated to the g+ experience, mostly we can't sleep and this helps. OK, we are that dedicated, but we can't sleep. lol
Also, I have it on good authority from my Grandma (God rest her soul) that naps are an important part of the day if you feel you need them. And if Oshi Shikigami thinks they are good, well... it is all but written in the Journal of Medicine in my line of thought. lol
Margaret Siemers Yes, I know! It just struck me as funny somehow:-) This comment thread has had me confused all day because comments posted early in the day have popped up at all hours. I need a nap:-)
Ann Kennedy I don't know about changing the name of the community, but I always think that apart from the regular few who keep on writing here, we have a readership of 700 silent members. I wonder what they think about our fantasies... Laurent
Ann Kennedy Je t'en prie ! The use of "tu" and "vous" is a very complex problem in French. I could write several pages on the subject, but to answer your comment, I shall make a long story short : When I joined this community, I would say "vous" to all the posts I was answering. But from the moment you and a few others started to become a bit more familiar (in the very positive sense of that word), I would start to address you as "tu" and you would do the same. This practice of the French language may have social consequences in some cases. In some situations, between the "tu" and the "vous", some people don't exactly know where they stand Ainsi donc, comment vas-tu, chère amie ? Laurent

ReplyDeleteOh, Ann Kennedy Nappies are diapers over in England. Diapers Unlimited, well only if we also get potty mouthed. I don't see that happening. lol.
