Glory days are over...
These 2 poor seniors are standing right behind each other, slowly rotting and rusting away. This is not at a scrap metal place or at a junk yard, but in a residential area, visible from the street. 50 meters away are the big villas.
And yet there they are in front of the only old house left in the street, shutters always down, the house just as miserable and dirty as the cars.
Yet both cars have recent valid 'oldies' license plates, so somebody took the trouble of registering them not too long ago, paying taxes for them, get their papers in order for a new life. And yet, there they are, for a couple of a years now, motionless.
What's even more surprising, in a country with more rules, regulations and restrictions than people, that they ARE still there. That the neighbours didn't start a petition, that they weren't towed away by the police or some health service.
It's okay with me, they can die there, but it's a shame, such a shame.
