FIFTY MILLION MARK - I'M RICH!

FIFTY MILLION MARK - I'M RICH!
I thought I'd cash this in and we'd have a Vintage Life Knees Up with the money.
Unfortunately it's not to be, as the banknote was issued during the period of Germany's hyperinflation. In 1923, for example, the American dollar was worth 4,210,500,000,000 German marks! Oh well, back to doing the lottery.

  4. I posted a while ago a 500 million mark bill in my profile, and it's still on my desk. I'm 10 times richer than you. :-)

  5. Laurent TRUILLET The £ is strong at the moment against the euro, but who knows, we (our countries, that is) are still all in debt.

  6. Luc Ansoms Nothing to boast about, Luc !
When I was a kid, I used to have a stamp collection (that I still have). I had a few mint German stamps, each worth I don't know how many hundred billions Reichmarks.
I asked my father what was the value of the Mark. He didn't know why I was asking, so he gave me the normal Deutschmark value.
For some time, I though I was very very rich !
