Love that answer Mike Martin. Seriously, Laurent TRUILLET the numbers from all the experts I have read all say the same thing. If you have a community with 100 people you will have 10 that plus or re-share, and 1 that will reply. The rest of that 100 are the silent readers. On any given day lots of them will stop and read what was posted and never plus the post, never plus the replies to the post, just never actively do anything. So at 700+ (712 now at this writing of mine) we are doing well with the folks that are actively doing things here. And that, as they say, is the rest of the story. ; )
Mike Martin You make me blush ! I didn't know I already had a fan club ! Finding ideas for new posts is not really difficult, as I have a tendency to bounce back on other people's posts. LT
Margaret Siemers You are right, and I have heard the same sort of figures. I also subscribe to two or three other communities where I just download the most interesting images. But "Vintage Life" has something the others don't have : it is friendly ! LT
Laurent TRUILLET Aw, now your just looking to get a cyber hug from us here at The Vintage Life, such a sweet thing to say. Thank you for your unsolicited opinion.
(sending out your check today for positive comments. lol )
i receive about 2,000 views a day, but only about 50 pluses and even less comments..............so, they keep stopping by, like i am sure many, many do on this page!!!
kristien marie So very kind of you to help me make the point. Especially with all the posting you must be doing to receive that kind of viewership. Thank you so much, we hope you will continue to stop in and say "Hello" from time to time. : )
My blog is read a lot but, as people are saying, I only get a few comments. Apparently I have a following in the Ukraine, from whom I never hear a peep. Go figure.
Well, they're waiting for your next post, Laurent TRUILLET! Your audience awaits! :-)
