The mention of street photographers made me think of our own street photographer in Vancouver, Foncie, of Foncie's Photos. He never kept his negatives so people have been gathering his photos together and sending them to this site. It's an absolute wealth of social history, especially for people like me who are interested in real-life fashion history. I actually have a few from the 40s to send in now too: I bought them off a street vendor last summer.
