Taken in the 20's, these girls look as if they're advertizing for a husband, showing that they're willing to work hard to keep a home clean. :-)) Don't know the real story, but perhaps that is the real story. :-))..certainly looks like it. :-)

ReplyDeleteOkay, my guess is that they'd doing volunteer work of some kind. Making soup and cleaning for the poor? The cap on the second woman from the left looks like a nurse's or a cook's cap maybe?
