Okay folks, as some of you know, I'm really into fashion history. I often write blog posts about fashion history. I'm not selling or promoting anything. I'm just having fun and sharing that fun. I taught college before I became disabled and I guess this is my natural teacher self coming out again. Here's an example of the kind of thing I do. (This one is about the 60s but I do other periods too.) Let me know if you like it and if you'd be okay with my posting my fashion history pieces on this board.

  1. I love the 60's, in any way you want to posts about them, ..fashion, music, anything. And I do like posts about the attire of people in times past. :-)

  2. Definitely not just the 60s. I dress how I feel that day, and then built a post around it, so you would also see me in vintage attire, interspersed with actual vintage fashion photos. It could be 1940s, 30s, 80s... whatever spirit strikes me.

  3. Being an old man, I am not too much concerned about fashion, but I like your enthusiasm.
On the other hand, I remember your comments about dating a photo from the clothing people wear. This is very precious. You could become our "official" clothing specialist !

  6. Laurent TRUILLET , neither age nor gender should keep you from the fun of fashion. Have you ever seen this blog? It's amazing! A lot of the elderly women that this young man has "discovered" have ended up with majoy modelling contracts.

My fave thing, though, in the fashion line, is vintage style: fashion history, basically. It tells a LOT about social history at the same time and... it's pretty.

  8. Great, Virginia M B, but remember that I don't just write about 60s style. I want to make sure people won't mind if I post these from time to time, even if they're not about the 60s!
