MISS FLYING SAUCER by Bill Randall

MISS FLYING SAUCER by Bill Randall
The term Flying Saucer came about following a supposed sighting by Kenneth Arnold in 1947. After this lots of people reported seeing them and sometimes even Little Green Men as well. People (or rather men) let their imaginations run wild, as this illustration by Bill Randall from the 1950s shows. It seems that there weren't only little green men in the universe!

This is an excellently done 50's Pin Up. And we don't mind seeing these more "Tasteful" pin ups now and then and once in a while.
ReplyDeleteThat said...Please guys do not let this start a rash of these as the owners don't want this running rampant (and you know you want to. lol ) Thanks guys, and Thanks Mike Perry for a fun look at a lovely lady.

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite saucer movies. Earth vs the Flying Saucers. The special effects hold up thanks to Ray Harryhausen.
