Reasons why I prefer vintage: my five year old kitchen bought from ikea is broken, again, the frontage has fallen off the dishwasher. A dishwasher that has been repaired twice since we bought it! We ripped out a 1960's kitchen, its doors were mouldy and bubbling, but other than that it was a perfectly well built, stable kitchen. Only it was in the wrong room. Someone take me back in time, and tell me not to make that mistake!!
