My present to myself for my birthday and to celebrate the fact that my disability claim was finally approved: a 1930s, Trifari duette. (A duette is a brooch that separates into two to become dress clips.)

ReplyDeleteSome idiot soldered the two clips together and the pin rod to the clips, so I can't wear them separately now. I'll get the solder removed soon. Even so, just as a single brooch, it's a spectacular piece and very large.
