"Looking like the whole line-up for a beauty contest, this surprising picture shows only one girl, 18-year-old Jill Feldster of Atlanta, GA., wearing her wardrobe of bathing suits – 100 of them.  Jill, who has done a radio show and movie bits under the name Jill Pepper, began collecting bathing suits in her early teens so she could look like Betty Grable.  To show off Jill and the suits, photographer Jay Leviton set up his camera in his backyard and took 50 different exposures of Jill on one film.  After each shot, Jill dashed in a tent, changed her suit, came back to stand on a spot previously marked by Leviton.  Next night Leviton shot another row of 50 suits.  In the center background, Jill appears to be standing apart, getting a good look at her 99 other selves."
