This one's for the ladies because it's completely lost on me. I've never really understood china and silver, and why they are so important to so many women. Can any of the ladies out there fill me in?

Looks like the pattern of silver we had at my house, when I grew up. But I am positive it was a 'knock-off' or something, as my parents would NEVER have spent 'real money' on such things...
