Like my parents always told me, "Now if you take good care of your things you'll have them to enjoy for a long time!" How very true...anyone for a game of Tickle Bee or Pick Up Sticks?
It's so true! How I'd love to have all toys of my childhood! I was stupidly spoiled.

Melita Bilić Save one of your daughter's toy for the distant future. It will have special meaning then, even though they don't seem to be worth anything now. My toys in the 1950s probably didn't seem like much either!

ReplyDeleteThe joy your daughter will have later in life when she sees that toy will make it worth its weight in gold. Children tie the happiness of childhood to a toy. A stuffed dog or bear, a book you read to them, even a cheep plastic poor workmanship toy, if it was liked will do the trick. Trust me on that one. +Melita Bilic
