My vintage shop, MadgesHatbox is named after my grandmother Madge Beals Meredith who was a milliner in the 1910s.  Here's a gem from her photo album.  This one is a little early for her to have made the hats, but the photo is absolutely sublime. #vintagehats

    Madges Hatbox Perhaps it is what got her creative inspiration flowing to do this kind of work. We seldom know where the spark that influences people comes from. 
    We did one of the weekly themes on hats here, so if you drill down the community I am sure you will find some nice one's. I myself love hats!
